Try, at least every two weeks, to do back to back days of 2+ hour runs. Don’t worry so much about distance, it is cumulative time on your feet. Try to get at least one good running speed workout in every two weeks as well. Speed work increases your efficiency, so you can go farther with less work.

Killington - you need significant hill and cardio training. Florida - I got through no problem at 206 lb with little training for my first beast. An Ultra is another animal because of the mileage. Even a flat Ultra will be tough and training for longer distance ontop of obstacle training would be a good idea.
